Take Sneak Peek At David Warner’s Dream House

Cricket champion David Warner and his wife Candice are moving towards taking occupancy in their $8 million Lurline Bay forever house.

The Sell gathers the move is nearing as they have sold their “nightwatchman” home.

It has been their nearby in-between abode while they built just 900m away over the past four years.

The home has been renovated over the past five years. Set on 335sqm, their temporary home at Maroubra is a split-level entertainer with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Renovations during their ownership saw a rear extension added.

Decking with the barbecue overlooking the rear lawn has been the undercover family cricket pitch for the couple and their three daughters.

The temporary family home cost $2.33 million in late 2016. Shane Vincent at Belle Property sold the home last week for $4.2 million with a likely delayed settlement date.

Construction of their intended house began in 2017, with an estimated two-year build. Their new home, which is edging towards fit-out, will come with a kitchen by In Vogue according to the site signage.

The $4 million five-storey home, still with some exterior scaffolding, is on an 892sqm oceanfront reserve block that cost $3.9 million in 2015.

The Warners initially funded their purchase and construction by selling their South Coogee mansion for $7.05 million. The home had cost $6.25 million two years earlier.

David did not join the Australian team that took a chartered flight to the West Indies last month for the white-ball tour. Candice is commentating at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games for the Seven Network.
