Jim Corbett National Park is India’s most popular national park. It was established in 1936 and given its current name in honour of Jim Corbett, a famous hunter who was instrumental in its founding. The park was the very first sanctuary to get involved with the Project Tiger mission.
The park provides guests with a selection of activities, such as tiger safaris, resort stays, and exploration of the local fauna. In addition to forests and grasslands, the area now has wetlands, hills, river basins, grasslands, and woods. It is now bigger than 500 square kilometres. Each year, the park welcomes in excess of 800,000 people. The tropical rain forest is home to a wide range of rare and special plants and animals.
