Venuespring aims to help thousands of event venues in the Philippines

Manila, Philippines  – Venuespring, the groundbreaking online marketplace for event venues and spaces, is proud to announce its official launch in the Philippines. Founded by experienced growth hacker and digital sales professional Benedict Isles, Venuespring aims to transform the way people discover and book venues for their special events and group activities.

Launched under Northbright Technologies Inc. in May 2023, Venuespring aims to connect individuals and event organizers with a diverse range of venues, including events places, restaurants, bars, cafés, and sports venues, exclusively available for group events and activities.

“Our mission is to provide a seamless and convenient listing and booking platform for venue owners. For hotels and rooms, there’s Airbnb and Agoda, but there’s no similar marketing channel for venues. We want to be the Agoda or Booking.com for event venues,” said Benedict. “We understand the importance of finding the right space to create unforgettable experiences, and with Venuespring, we’re making it much easier for users to discover hidden gems and make their events truly exceptional.”

With a passion for entrepreneurship, impressive professional experience in fintech and a keen understanding of the event industry, Benedict embarked on a journey that led him to create the marketplace startup. His entrepreneurial spirit was first ignited during his college years when he worked as a resort caretaker in his hometown of Los Baños, Laguna. It was there that he recognized the potential in connecting individuals with unique event spaces.

Armed with his skills and knowledge gained from his first job in the metro, Benedict launched a local private resort reservations website in 2012. Through his relentless efforts and strategic partnerships with villa owners and caretakers, the website flourished, attracting customers from various companies in Metro Manila. And though the business was later on sold, this success opened Benedict’s eyes to the demand for event spaces, particularly for occasions like birthdays, seminars, Christmas parties, and company team-building activities.

Inspired by this realization, Benedict embarked on pilot projects Venues.ph and ResortsGuide.ph with different co-founders between 2014 and 2016. Though these projects did not continue, these ventures received recognition, culminating in Benedict being awarded the Startup Summit Philippines Youth Entrepreneur Award in 2016. The recognition further fueled his determination to go on and one day relaunch a platform that would streamline the venue booking process.

With ambitious growth targets this year, Venuespring plans to expand its portfolio to onboard 1,000 venues, offering an even wider range of options for users. The platform’s growth trajectory aims to include venues that are far from the ordinary—empty open grounds, olden mansions, vintage restaurants, and other unique properties based out of the metro.
