Thelma Riley, also known as Thelma Mayfair, is the ex-wife of English singer and songwriter Ozzy Osbourne. The couple met in the 1970s and got married in 1982, but their marriage ended in divorce in 2016.

Thelma Riley was born on June 24, 1956, in Birmingham, England. She grew up in a working-class family and reportedly worked as a receptionist before meeting Ozzy. Ozzy, who was already famous as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, was at the height of his fame when he met Thelma.

The couple fell in love and got married in 1982, but their relationship was tumultuous from the start. Ozzy struggled with addiction and infidelity, and Thelma often found herself in the role of the supportive wife trying to keep the family together. Despite the challenges, Thelma remained by Ozzy’s side for over three decades and the couple had three children together: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.

In the mid-1990s, Thelma Riley and Ozzy’s marriage hit a rough patch and the couple separated for a short period of time. However, they eventually reconciled and remained together until their divorce in 2016. Thelma cited Ozzy’s infidelity and substance abuse as the main reasons for the breakup.

After the divorce, Thelma stepped back from the limelight and has largely stayed out of the public eye. She has not remarried or had any public relationships since her divorce from Ozzy.

Despite the difficulties in their marriage, Thelma and Ozzy’s children have spoken highly of their mother and the role she played in their upbringing. In interviews, they have credited Thelma with being a strong and supportive mother who always put their needs first.

Thelma has largely remained out of the public eye since her divorce from Ozzy, but she is remembered as an important figure in the singer’s life. Despite the challenges they faced, Thelma stood by Ozzy’s side for over three decades and played a crucial role in the upbringing of their children.
