The most recent batch of models authorised by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) was made public in the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products. According to the release, MIIT has given its blessing to the plug-in hybrid Geely Xingyue 2023 model.
The Geely Xingyue-L plug-in hybrid version’s pure electric driving range is 205 km, fuel consumption is 5.3 l/100 km, engine displacement is 1480 ml, and battery capacity is 39.81 kWh, according to the declaration.
The general shape of this car is similar to the Geely Xingyue L Leishen Hi X, although there are some minor differences. The power system has seen the most significant modification. This model includes a plug-in system with a 1.5 T + motor that works with the ternary lithium battery pack supplied by CATL.
The new car looks very similar to the Leishen Hi X. The car has undergone some notable alterations, such as new fog lamps, rims, a charging interface added to the left rear fender, and a new emblem added to the tail under the “Xingyue L” tail tag.
Low wind resistance rims, rear bumper trim, front and window frame trim, and other choices are also available in the plug-in version. The car’s dimensions are 4770*1895*1689mm in length, breadth, and height, with a 2845mm wheelbase.
