Conventional loan limits have increased approximately 10.48%, rising $67,800 to $715,000 for 1 unit of properties. The loan limits increased exponentially in the high-cost areas. For example, in the state of Alaska and Hawaii, the loan limit is $1,073,000 for a 1-unit property. 

A home with four units is considered a family property available under standard mortgage financing programs. Therefore, the loan limit will increase depending on your buying unit. For example, a conventional loan limit for four units costs roughly $1,376,000 in the US continent. While in Hawaii and Alaska, four units cost around $2,064,000. 

Loan For Veterans 

You can apply for VA home loan mortgages if you are a veteran or ex-serviceman. It is a mortgage loan available through a program established by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This loan will enable veterinary service members and their spouses to purchase homes with minimal down payments.

The FHFA has different loan limits in different states for a jumbo loan. Countries with higher income value have an exceeding loan limit, such as the baseline for this loan in some countries is $970,800.
